Don’t you love this time of year, when the autumn and winter holidays approach? I do! I’m a fan of Halloween too, especially because of the fun costumes we can wear, and because I love candy corn! So for Halloween this year, I went to my favorite nail salon – Chinois Beaute Bar, in Studio City – and had my wonderful manicurist Kelly give me some festive Halloween nails!
Tammie Ly, the owner of Chinois Beaute Bar, is a vivacious and gracious professional, who is also known among local celebrities for her artistry in creating natural-looking acrylics and custom blended shades of nail lacquer. Yes, Tammie creates nail colors herself! And her polishes tend to last longer on nails than the commercial brands.
I’ve been going to Tammie’s place faithfully now for more than 10 years, and I have only high praises – for their services and products, and for Kelly and ALL of the wonderful gals who work there along with Tammie. Tammie’s style and class are evident as soon as you step foot into her salon. She hand designs and sells gorgeous accessories too, such as jeweled belts and beaded sandals.
What’s fun too is that she caters to a good number of female and male celebrities, so it’s not uncommon to be getting your nails done a few feet from a well know TV, Film, or Music star.
At the Chinois Beaute Bar, you can get the standard manicures and pedicures, as well as waxing, threading, shoulder massage, and facials. I’m a big fan of Gel Nails, and am in there every 2-3 weeks getting them done with Kelly, my favorite manicurist! The prices are very reasonable. They welcome women and men!
