Did you know? Every night in LA more than 65,000 people sleep out on the streets. They have no choice.
The NoHo Home Alliance (NHHA) will host a socially distanced, awareness-raising and fundraising event Saturday, October 3 starting at 6:30pm to Sunday, October 4 at 6:30am.
NHHA is organizing a “Sleep Out”— an immersive event where people sleep out at home/in their yards/on their balconies (or outside, socially-distanced on-site) to develop awareness/empathy about homelessness, while also participating in a fundraiser to support their drop-in program improvements.
The fun part of the “Sleep Out” is a Zoom show with educational segments, comedians and performers. The all-ages portion will run from 6:30pm to 9pm, with an “after party” on Zoom from 9-11pm.

NHHA will be showing the broadcast live (but socially distanced) from the St. Matt’s campus, produced by Loft Ensemble. (Much material will be pre-recorded). Much of the talent is local—Studio City/NoHo, including musicians, the comedian Brian Kiley, the composer Joseph Bishara, Rob Mayes, Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre.
